The American Institute of Architects invites its members to meet in Chicago on 26 - 28 June 2014, to study the theme: Design with Purpose. Major figures in American architecture will address this annual convention, where over 200 speakers will be present: Rick Bell, one of the creators of the FitNation programme, Edward Mazria, a champion of sustainable development and founder of Architecture 2030, or Emily Grandstaff-Rice,
searching for the best practices and strategies for emerging architects. The keynote conferences will be given by Jeanne Gang, Stephen Chung and Theaster Gates. The convention also presents the opportunity to rediscover major works by the Chicago School of Architecture.
