The WAN Civic Buildings Award 2014 champions designs that identify and deliver contemporary, practical, cost-efficient solutions to the challenges faced in the public realm. From embassies to libraries and law courts, we’re searching for projects that redefine how space is used for human interaction within the built environment.

A world-class award requires world-class judges. Over the past five years, we’ve been assembling expert panels to assess the entries – details of 2014 judges will follow shortly, but as usual they will be handpicked for their unique insight and unparalleled experience, their deep understanding of this sector will be put to the test as they single out the designs that take civic architecture in new and exciting directions. Not only will winners receive the honour, prestige and kudos of receiving a WAN Award, they’ll also benefit from having their work seen by the industry elite around the world.
