“Dance of the Cranes” was hosted last night at the site of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, Greece. This creative music/dance performance was inspired by the project designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and executed by Myron Michailidis, the artistic director of the Greek National Opera. 10 construction cranes, working daily on the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center site for the completion of the project, “danced” to the music of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets”.
