in september, sixty-nine artists from 26 different countries will come together and present
their work at the 5th annual seoul international media art biennale, sponsored by the
seoul metropolitan government.  also known as media city seoul, this year`s theme is
`turn and widen` and will be broken down into three sub-categories of light, communication
and time.  the event is meant to explore the area of media art and the aesthetic experience
through translating new forms of media into art.  by converging art, technology and industry,
media city seoul aims to present a fresh perspective on what can come from collaborating
between these areas.
