University of Nebraska-Lincoln architecture students and University ofNebraska-Omaha engineering students are collaborating to build anet-zero energy infill house of their design. The 2,000-square-footZero Net Energy Test House—ZNETH—is currently under construction in aneighborhood of existing 1,200-square-foot to 1,800-square-foot homesadjacent to the University of Nebraska-Omaha`s South Campus. Inaddition to net-zero energy performance, the project is aiming for LEEDcertification at the Gold or Platinum level.
