Each year, the DVGBC conducts a Sustainable Design Competition to engage students from regional colleges and universities. The goal is to incorporate sustainable design strategies into the college curriculum and empower students within the green building movement to become future leaders. Integrated with the LEED Green Building Rating System, the Design Competition unites students with esteemed individuals from the DVGBC and the local design community. Professors are encouraged to incorporate the Design Competition with the Spring 2009 college and university curriculum.
