Greendiary: WEAK, a group of architects has come up with a unique and intricately designed building realized on a wasteland of a ruined building site in-between the Shenzhen City Hall and an illegal workers camp. Created as part of the Shenzhen and Hong Kong bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture in Shenzhen, China, the Bug Dome derives inspiration from insects. The building made using bamboo incorporates the local knowledge from rural Guanxi brought into the city by the migrating construction workers for construction purposes.
