Design Shanghai is one of the world's most prestigious international design events and Asia's premier design event. Constantly breaking new ground, it has set a precedent in China's ever-growing design community.

This year's event will take place from 19 to 22 June at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai, China.

Celebrating its 11th year, the event aims to explore how eastern and western design philosophies can work together synergistically across 4 vibrant Halls. The event will also be showcasing bespoke installations, an inspirational design forum and a roster of exciting networking events.

Prominent Chinese designers and artists, alongside several international brands, will present their products at Design Shanghai 2024.

The event will also host a Design Shanghai Design Forum, feauring world-renowned speakers. British designer Thomas Heatherwick, Danish designer Aldo Bakker, British desiger Paul Cocksedge, world-leading industrial designer Paul Priestman are among this year's speakers. 

The theme of the forum is The New Universal Language of Design. 

The event will aslo present Colours, Materials and Finishes (CMF) Conference in which color, materials, and finishes (CMF) play a crucial role in design. You can see the speakers list of the conference here.
