MIPIM reveals latest international real estate projects that will be showcased at this year's event

MIPIM, the world's leading property market, has unveiled the latest international real estate projects that will be showcased at this year's event which will be held on March 12-15, 2019 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
After announcing its theme for 2019 titled "Engaging the Future", it shows that large-scale masterplan developments will hit MIPIM for 2019. Celebrating its 30th edition this year, this special edition of MIPIM will highlight global and societal topics impacting the real estate industry.
New Parc des Expositions in Strasbourg designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates. The project is expected to open in the summer of 2021.
The central theme will be explored by focusing on future economic growth, community cohesion and sustainability. Revenue streams in the real estate industry are rapidly evolving within the digital era. As a result, companies and investors are changing their approaches to real estate as an investment and product service.
This year's event will showcase major international real estate projects, representing all segments of real estate – offices, residential, hotel and tourism, commercial, industrial and logistics among others.

Every year, MIPIM gathers the most influential players from all sectors of the international property industry for a four-day event of networking, learning and insightful discussion through various conferences and exhibitions. MIPIM 2019 is expected to be attended by over 26,000 participants and more than 5,400 investors.

MIPIM announced that a selection of 108 real estate projects from 30 countries that will be showcased at MIPIM 2019. Among these projects, visitors will discover the 5th extension of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, Montréal’s first smart vertical community in which occupants will be able to live, work and play, or Tokyo Tokiwabashi 2027 large-scale redevelopment in the Tokiwabashi District in front of Tokyo station.
Coima Headquarters in Milan, Italy was designed by Mario Cucinella Architects. The project will be showcased at MIPIM 2019.
All selected projects are showcased each floor of the Palais des Festivals Congress Center showcasing latest projects that are worked in the real estate industry. In addition, a series of conferences, discussions and sessions are held around the major topic of the event, with key industry leaders, city experts, developers, architects and designers.
The main aim of MIPIM is to bring fresh ideas, new technological and innovative tools into the real estate market to propel the discussion over the authorities. The full program of MIPIM can be viewed from here. Registrations are still open to MIPIM from the event's website.

Mixed-use: Cidade Matarazzo, São Paulo (Brazil) presented by Cidade Matarazzo
Matarazzo is a mixed-use project in the São Paulo megapolis. The project consists of the refurbishment of a former hospital and maternity unit, buildings that are part of the city’s heritage. The project will provide a combination of retail space, gastronomy, entertainment and hospitality, a cultural space – Casa da Criatividade – and a theatre and exhibition hall.
Mixed-use: Busan Eco Delta Smart City, Busan (South Korea) presented by K-water (Korea Water Resources Corporation)
Busan Eco Delta Smart City, located at Nakdong Delta waterfront, is meeting the challenge of creating a 21st century smart waterfront city. Designated a National Smart City Pilot Project in January 2018 the project will apply cutting-edge smart city technology to make ready for the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Retail & Leisure: Gateshead Quays, Gateshead (UK) presented by Gateshead Council, designed by HOK
Situated on a 4ha site overlooking the River Tyne, the project will provide entertainment, conference and exhibition facilities, close to Sage Gateshead and the Baltic centre for contemporary art, and will cement the cultural and leisure offer at Gateshead on a global scale.
Office: New Headquarters of Continental, Hannover (Germany) presented by City of Hannover, designed by HENN
The new Continental campus will comprise eight buildings which will be connected by four bridges. The longest of these, having a span of 71 meters, will extend over Hannover’s Hans-Böckler-Allee. The new buildings symbolise Continental’s ability and willingness to transform itself and the plans from Munich-based architects Henn realise Continental’s values and goals.
