Mecanoo releases new book "Inspiration and Process in Architecture" emphasizing process in sketches

Mecanoo has released its new book titled "Inspiration and Process in Architecture", which emphasises the process of architecture with a set of sketches, drawings and models, are unavoidably part of any architects' archives.
Published by Moleskine, "Inspiration and Process in Architecture" is the 20th book that Mecanoo has published so far. Mecanoo's other books include People Place Purpose: New monograph Francine Houben/Mecanoo, Dutch Mountains, Mecanoo Architecten, Composition, Contrast, Complexity and more. The 144-page book is presented as a series of monographs on key figures in modern and contemporary architecture.
"It offers the reading of the practice of design which emphasises the value of freehand drawing as part of the creative process. Each volume provides a different perspective, revealing secrets and insights and showing the various observation techniques, languages, characters, forms and means of communication," said Mecanoo regarding the book.
Moleskine stated that "Mecanoo is a Dutch architectural firm founded in 1984. The group has always paid great attention to the entire process control and focus on sustainable design and the study of matter and patterns."
"The study has to his credit many residential buildings, universities, offices, museums and public buildings around the world including the libraries of Delft and Birmingham, Hilton Amsterdam airport Schiphol, the Maritime and Beachcombers Museum and the Palace of Justice Córdoba," added Moleskine.
