The second discussion in the Original Talks series is set to take place on August 27 with an exciting list of speakers who will share their thoughts and insights on Original Design.
The second part of this year’s Original Talks series, organised by Downtown Design in association with Dubai Design District (d3), is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27 at A4 Space in Alserkal Avenue. Moderator Richard Dean from Dubai Eye and panelists Mouad Benmoussa from Gaggenau, Tareq AbuRoza from Sicis and Nader Fleihan from Louis Poulsen will share their thoughts and insights as part of an ongoing effort to communicate the importance of Original Design to a broader audience.
The discussion will look into topics such as the value brands place on original pieces, the relationship between designers and manufacturers, the challenges brands are presented with in this region, ways and means they employ to protect their original designs and the role of original design in our society.
Speakers will also share stories about the brands’ heritage and their investment in improving designs over time through innovation, materials and quality development.
