The Presidential Library Projects which are traditionally continued since 1929 is not changed for 44th epoch, The action took start for 44th President of USA, Barack Obama. In competition for the library planned for Chicago, projects of famous architects from around the world was presented to the final selection jury. 

In the competition, The project of Erdem Architects from Turkey took a place with others. The project is planned for on the edge of the Chicago River. The main idea of the project proposed by Erdem Architects "Rise", that represents the rise of  American people during the period of President Obama. 

The Form of the building emerges from the initials of President Obama. Circular form of the library has meanings like meeting, getting together, and reunioun.Erdem Architects projects are known with their philosophical contents. Last year, they got the first prize with their peace themed Project, in the competition urban renewal Project for Old La Spezia Arsenale Harbor of Napoleon. Erdem Architects has over 40 project in 4 continents.
