United Kingdom Architecture News - Dec 01, 2014 - 14:00 4683 views
A new magazine explores the creation of Denmark’s first new-build, culture-historical museum of more recent date. The magazine contains interviews with the involved and is lavishly illustrated.
The magazine shapes an overall image of the new museum from the initiating architectural competition to the official inauguration this October. Henning Larsen Architects has been involved all along and has contributed in many ways. Among others, Design Manager Christian Andresen has been responsible for the development of the new visual identity of the museum. In the magazine, he explains:
”With ideals like culture, history, and nature, the new visual identity is a symbol of the gradual discovery of our collective identity. We have been working intensely with the synergy between architecture, landscape and museum.”
You can also meet Museum Director Jan Skamby Madsen, who speaks of the motive for the new museum, or read the interview with Architect and Project Manager Niels Edeltoft, who elaborates on the development and challenges of the architecture.
Henning Larsen Architects’ new magazine—”Moesgaard Museum – Part of the Landscape"—is now available online. Read it directly on a mobile device or download it from ISSUU:http://bit.ly/1rhWr9x
