Krakow Congress Centre, a new landmark for the historic city of Krakow, opens today with an inaugural concert event
The 18,000m² building houses an auditorium, a theatre and chamber hall and also includes 500m² of stock rooms, technical back rooms and an underground parking lot. Its modern image is determined by the organically shaped building with a large glazed foyer, which opens the perspective to the river, to the old city center and the royal Wawel Castle.

The venue includes the latest forms of acoustic technology – a first for Poland – making it one of the country’s best concert halls. This technology includes above-stage sound reflectors, movable screens that reflect sound and regulate the time of after-sounds, and seats with the highest acoustic, ergonomic and durability specifications. Thanks to its design and technologies applied, the hall can accommodate cultural events, conferences and congresses up to 2,000 people.
