Communication strategy for architects / The architecture of image _ The image of architecture

On Thursday December 4th, Jan Knikker, head of Public Relations and Business Development at MVRDV, will give a lecture, as part of the convention untitled "communication strategy for architects / The architecture of image _ The image

of architecture" in Venice. Organized by IUAV University in Venice and the Regional Federation of Orders of Architects of Veneto  (F.O.A.V.) in collaboration with Floornature, the convention looks at the relationship between architecture and the visual languages of digital media.

This conference will be the occasion to discuss the architect’s relationship with the new media and the communication about architecture on the internet. These themes were already drawn to the attention of people all over the world thanks to the recent book “Architecture on the web. A Critical Approach to Communication” edited by Paolo Schianchi. The event will feature presentations by architects and communications experts including Volker Halbach (blauraum architekten), Laura Iloniemi, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Jan Knikker (MVRDV), Riccardo Scandellari and Paolo Schianchi.
