The Mecanoo architecten and BuroHappold Engineering team has been awarded the first prize in the international architectural design contest for the design and construction of a new administrative building for the European Investment Bank (EIB) on Kirchberg plateau in Luxembourg to replace the EIB West Building which is coming to the end of its lifecycle.Construction of building is planned to start in 2017.
