Developed by Knight Dragon, the £1 billion landmark is planned to transform Greenwich Peninsula-which is London’s emerging cultural district. Calatrava's trio towers-encompassing a total of 130,064-square-metre area-will feature shops, bars, theatres, cinemas, performance spaces, apartments and hotels. Named, Peninsula Place, this 'transportation hub' reaches to 40 storeys.

The mega-structure features a 24-metre high canopy where residents and visitors will arrive from its tube. This canopy covers winter garden and glass galleria inside the building. Three towers set above this giant canopy include workspaces, apartments and hotels, and all connected to the Thames by a stunning new land bridge.

''I am also pleased to welcome Knight Dragon’s continued investment in Greenwich Peninsula, providing much-needed infrastructure, shops, offices, and new genuinely affordable homes for Londoners'', said Calatrava.

''It is an honour to be designing such a piece of the fabric of London, a city I love. In designing this scheme, I have been inspired by London’s rich architectural heritage and the very special geography of the Peninsula. It will be a project that reflects both this and the ambition of Knight Dragon for Greenwich Peninsula.''
