Bjarke Ingels on Hedonistic Sustainability

BIG founder Bjarke Ingels talks about his architectural philosophy named as 'Hedonistic Sustainability'. In the Wired's interview, Ingels speaks about his five points of design, Minecraft, and how our cities will look in 2050.

''One of things that we are quite interested in at BIG is how seemingly mutually-exclusive ideas can often perfectly co-exist and create new hybrids. One of things is we worked the idea called 'Hedonistic Sustainability', which was essentially of realisation we had 10 years ago that sustainability was always being associated with some form of sacrifice, you know like taking a cold shower,'' says Bjarke Ingels.
