The 26th World Congress of the International Union of Architects, UIA Seoul 2017, will take place at the COEX Centre and at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul in Korea, from 3 to 10 September 2017.

The Academic Programme of the Congress has planned to emphasize research and architectural design in the form of presentations and discussions of theoretical research as well as of projects and realisations on the Congress’ theme: “The Soul of the City.” Three sub-themes can be developed: City and Culture, City and Future, City and Nature. Proposals on other themes, different from the aforementioned are welcome on the condition that they relate to the main theme of the Congress: ''The Soul Of The City.''
