Culture Ireland and the Arts Council invite expressions of interest from an architect, architectural practice, curator or commissioner who wish to represent Ireland at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale and who can demonstrate the appropriate level of knowledge and skill to manage and deliver a presentation on such an important international stage. Submissions must be received by noon, Friday 4 September 2015.

The Venice Architecture Biennale is the world’s leading architecture event, featuring more than 60 national exhibitions and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors.  Culture Ireland and the Arts Council are committed to Ireland's participation in the Venice Architecture Biennale, with the aim of increasing opportunities for, and the profile of, Irish architects internationally. As well as serving as a global showcase for Irish architecture, the Venice Architecture Biennale offers Irish architects the opportunity to engage with international audiences, influence future trends in architecture and explore their individual practice.
