The world is entering a new era of accelerated knowledge and great technological revolutions, the aim to lead in that era, not to follow and delay behind. The Museum invents new ways to tell stories, engaging visitors themselves in the creation and curation of content by reinforcing the idea of technology with the design of space.
The building is a new type, a new concept of designing museums, their spaces and display techniques in which it shows a futuristic ideology for the futuristic architecture era. It becomes an incubator for concepts, a lead to innovation, and a destination for inventors and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

Museum of the Future will narrate a story by displaying 3 main exhibitions: The Beginning of the Universe, Humanity and The Vision of the Future, as a sequence of timeline display, from past, present to future. Exhibitions includes 3D printed objects, video projections, augmented reality systems, interactive partition walls, movable and dynamic objects. Workshops, fabrication spaces, manufacture and industry labs are designed to give the opportunities for scientists, inventors and intellectuals to launch their ideas from this building.

The elevated museum building is designed to achieve the concept of visual and physical connection in a dense site, in which the building enhances the connectivity and the idea of “No-Barrier” respecting the context and the neighborhood, creating social green outdoor spaces for temporary outdoor exhibitions, seasonal and occasional activities. The chosen proposed site is rich with educational, cultural and governmental surrounding buildings, thus the building will offer a wide range of knowledge and technology for all users including stakeholders, students and citizens from all ages in addition of becoming a major tourist destination.

The museum does not only respect the neighborhood, but also interact with it. The Interactive kinetic facades are designed to make the museum’s exteriors a part of its exhibition, moving and displaying video projections on screens attached to hydraulic damper system, changes dynamically rather than being static or fixed allowing movement to occur on building’s exterior surface. The system analyzes the depth of displayed images and enhance the interaction between project mass and pedestrians, giving the whole building a dynamic flow, 3rd sense of dimension, creating various heights of the panels, achieving maximum interaction. They are used for aesthetic purposes, to make strong impression to generate interests and become part of museum’s exhibition.

Museum of the Future is a One-of-a-kind project in which there is no similar project in the city and the whole country. It could be a solution for the site, allowing new experience and gives wide range of values for the whole society and neighborhood. Finally, designing such a project is to prove that Lebanese young “Future Architects” could design their own country and dream big.
