Advertising duration on World Architecture Jobs

Job advertisings are published on World Architecture Jobs for 60-day periods.

After this period, the job adverts will be automatically removed from the website. To post a new job ad, a new package must be purchased.

WAC Professional Members have a free-of-charge Single Job Posting- 60-day package (for one-time use) and can see their free packages in the My Jobs and My Package sections of their sign in / sign up menu.

If the advertiser wants to remove the job ad from World Architecture Jobs before the defined package period, the advertiser must contact WAC. WAC may remove the job ad at its discretion. However, there will be no refund. See the “Submission Policy” and “Payment and Refund Policy on World Architecture Jobs” sections for details.

Job ad content on World Architecture Jobs

World Architecture Job ads accepts only text for job ads. Companies can add their logo in the submission form. If the company is posting a job for a special project, it can upload an image of that project. The image is displayed on the detail page of the job advertisement.

If the advertiser is looking for more than one person belonging to the same position and job description, the advertiser can post one job advert for that position on World Architecture Jobs, specifying the number of vacancies.

Job ads must be made according to the job ad posting rules specified by the World Architecture Community (WAC) on the website. Job ads are published at World Architecture Community's discretion and World Architecture Community reserves the right to reject the job ad posting. If a Job ad is rejected because it does not apply the posting rules specified by the WAC on the website, no refund will be made.

World Architecture Community reserves the right to edit job adverts or to request to resubmit the Job ad from the advertiser.

World Architecture Community (WAC) is not responsible for the content itself. It is the advertiser's responsibility to submit the job adverts in accordance with the rules specified on the WAC's website, truthfully and legally.

World Architecture Community (WAC) does not publish unpaid internship job ads.

Recruitment agencies can create an account on the WAC on behalf of their clients by correctly declaring their client's name and other information and post job adverts on their client's behalf.

Those who want to apply for a job must be an Architect, Interior Architect, Student, Academic member of WAC, and sign in to their accounts before applying. Job applicants’ applications will be sent to the employer via the email they provide in the World Architecture Jobs form. Email address is not displayed in the job ad text.

Submission Policy

To post a job ad to World Architecture Jobs, you must go to the website (https://worldarchitecture.org), sign in to your account and apply using the online job application form via the "Post Job" page.

All mandatory fields in the World Architecture Jobs application form must be filled (marked with (*)) completely and accurately by the advertiser. It is the responsibility of the advertiser that all the information specified in the form is declared within the framework of legal accuracy and labor laws. If any information is found to be illegal or without the scope of labor laws, the job ad will be removed from the website regardless of other clauses. There will be no refund.

World Architecture Community reserves the right to decline job ads that it deems violating the rules. In this case, World Architecture Community will contact the advertiser with a short note stating that the job posting has been removed from the website. WAC may request editing of job postings for only reasonable conditions, and the job ad will be published once the advertiser makes the requested correction. This process will be within 24 hours to decline the job posting for publication or request editing, however, the time taken for the job posting to be published will not be significant.

The advertiser agrees that the job postings sent to World Architecture Jobs will be published only after World Architecture Community approves the job advert and after completing the necessary editing on the job ad. You will be notified by email when your job posting is approved for publication. If for any reason you wish to withdraw your job ad after you have completed the payment for your job posting, you must contact WAC via this email ([email protected]) within 24 hours. If you contact World Architecture Community within 24 hours before your job ad is published on the website, you will be refunded for the job ad package you purchased.

Even after the job ad is published, if you want to withdraw your job ad, it will be removed from the website, however you will not be refunded.

In a job posting at World Architecture Jobs, you can specify how many people you are looking for that position. But you should purchase different job ad packages for different positions and pay for each package separately.

Submission format to World Architecture Jobs

Job ads must be submitted in English language only. In World Architecture Jobs, your job posting will be composed of only text and you can only add your company logo if you wish. If you are posting a job advert for a special project, you can upload the image of that project.

World Architecture Community always reserves the right to delete the job ad or remove it from the website when it sees a written or visual content that does not comply with the editorial rules of World Architecture Jobs or the website. While reading this text, you agree that you will use the World Architecture Jobs service honestly, and accept that you will not enter that does not comply with the editorial rules of the job ad and website, containing illegal information or unacceptable content (listed in WAC Advertising Guidelines). In this context, you agree that you are responsible for the truth, legality and accuracy of the job ad you submit to World Architecture Jobs.

Amendment Policy on World Architecture Jobs

After you send your job posting to World Architecture Jobs, you can contact World Architecture Community via “My Jobs” section under the sign in / sign up menu or send an email to [email protected] to request amendment on your job ad. However, World Architecture Community (WAC) does not guarantee to make amendment on the job posting and will only evaluate amendments for reasonable demands.

World Architecture Community reserves the right to reject amendments if the requested changes don’t be found reasonable by WAC editors.

Also, World Architecture Community reserves the right to request editing for the job advertisement. If a Job ad found inappropriate, it will be taken to passive status. World Architecture Community will be reaching out to the advertiser with a short editing note in this case. If WAC has taken your job posting to "passive" status, you will be notified with an email with the reason and the editing request. You must send the requested amendment to the email address specified in the e-mail. If WAC does not approve of the submitted amendment, it reserves the right not to publish the job ad on the website.

Publication of the job ad on World Architecture Jobs depends on the time it takes for the requested amendment and on the duration of the change submitted to the WAC by the job advertiser.

Payment and Refund Policy on World Architecture Jobs

At World Architecture Jobs, the 60-day Single Job Posting package price is $75 (inclusive of VAT where applicable). The 60-day 3 Job Posting package (Featured) price is $350 (inclusive of VAT where applicable). You can see the prices of other packages on this page.

The advertiser must have completed the payment before the job posting is published on World Architecture Jobs.

By reading this text, you agree that you accept World Architecture Community's payment and refund terms and conditions below. After completing your payment in World Architecture Jobs, your payment receipt will be automatically sent to your e-mail address registered in World Architecture Community. You can also track your payment receipts under WAC Settings and Billing button. If you request a separate invoice, you must submit your invoice request separately via this e-mail ([email protected]).

If World Architecture Community declines to publish your job advert, WAC will give you an equivalent job ad package instead of the rejected job advert to be used in 3 months period.

If you wish to withdraw your job posting for any reason after you have paid for your job advert, you must contact WAC via this email ([email protected]) within 24 hours. However, in order to receive your refund, your job ad must not have been published on the website. If you contact World Architecture Community within 24 hours before your job ad is published on the website, you will be refunded for the job ad package you purchased.

Secure Payment Options on World Architecture Community (WAC)

WAC accepts secured credit card payments. When you come to the payment step in the job posting form, you will be directed to an SSL-secured credit card¹ payment page (with 3-D Secure² payment authentication where available).

World Architecture Community accepts, Visa, MasterCard (both available globally) and AliPay (available in China).

(1) Credit Card payments are made through a secure bank interface with SSL encryption. World Architecture Community does not receive or keep your credit card information.

(2) 3-D Secure is an authenticated payment system to improve online transaction security and encourage the growth of e-commerce payments. Collectively Visa, MasterCard and AMEX secure systems are brand identities of the 3-D Secure Cardholder Authentication Scheme. 3-D Secure systems recreate the high level of security of a physical payment environment by requesting further payment authentication. The objective is to provide a safe and secure online payment experience across all three domains using a password that is validated by the card issuer and further checked by all other parties involved in the transaction (more on 3-D Secure payments on MasterCard's website)

Scope of Service in World Architecture Jobs

By using the World Architecture Jobs service, you understand and agree that this service does not cooperate with or provide employment agency services and only provides job advertisement services on the World Architecture Community website. At the same time, you agree that the World Architecture Community does not include any employment agreements or assistance services among its end users who post job ads and seek job ads on the World Architecture Jobs service. In this context, you acknowledge and agree that World Architecture Jobs service does not guarantee any response from World Architecture Community users to the posted job ads.

You acknowledge that the World Architecture Jobs service will not always provide an uninterrupted service and access to job ads may be intermittent. The World Architecture Jobs page may be interrupted due to possible virus attacks or other reasons that may restrict access, and may prevent the display of job ads. World Architecture Community is not legally responsible for such unexpected conditions. World Architecture Community will not be liable to the advertiser and the job seeker for the losses that may occur due to service interruption (for example, loss of data entry, loss of time and workforce, loss of income, loss of goodwill, etc.).

World Architecture Community only accepts pdf. files as the risk of infection is very low. However, if an advertiser or a job seeker’s computer is infected for any reason, and for any damage that may occur from the downloaded files for both parties, World Architecture Community is not legally responsible for the infected-files or unreliable files uploaded to the World Architecture Jobs system. We recommend you to scan your files before downloading to your computer.

IP Rights (Intellectual Property) in World Architecture Jobs

All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, design rights (excluding the job name itself) on the World Architecture Jobs website are owned by the World Architecture Community. Nothing in these terms will transfer any ownership of WAC's intellectual property rights to the advertiser.

By agreeing to post a job ad on the World Architecture Jobs page, you are granting a royalty-free license to reproduce and publish your job ad with your intellectual property rights, all design contents, features of your job advert.

Cancellation of job ad and termination of membership

If you want to remove your job ad from the World Architecture Jobs page for any reason, you can contact WAC by sending an e-mail to [email protected] even if your ad has been published on the website. WAC will evaluate your inquiry and remove your job ad from the website as soon as possible. However, in this case, you will not be refunded. If you want to publish a job ad on the World Architecture Jobs page again, you must repurchase the package you canceled.

If you want to completely remove your membership in the World Architecture Community, you can completely remove your membership on the website by clicking the Forget Me button at the bottom of the WAC Settings page.

Conditions in data storage in World Architecture Jobs

By uploading your CV to the World Architecture Jobs system, you acknowledge and agree that your CV will be stored in the database of the World Architecture Community for 12 months. After 12 months, CVs will not be downloadable. You agree that uploaded CVs cannot be searched or displayed on the WAC website and are only accessible by the relevant company who post job ad and WAC editorial team.

Job seekers using the World Architecture Jobs service are responsible for keeping their CVs and other information up-to-date and updating them periodically in the system. If your contact information has changed, you should update it on your profile immediately.

You accept and approve that every information you enter while creating a profile for World Architecture Jobs, such as name, surname, address, profession, email, position, is maintained in the system until you remove it completely.

General Conditions

World Architecture Community may transfer its owns rights or obligations at any time to any party under this agreement. You agree that you may not transfer your all rights and obligations hereunder to other party without the prior written consent of World Architecture Community.

If World Architecture Community is prevented from doing so for any reason beyond its own control, it will not be legally liable for failure to fulfill its obligations under the above-mentioned conditions.

These terms and conditions and any dispute shall be submitted in accordance with Turkish law to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
