The project explores the relationship between solid and void in Belfast (Northern Ireland) city center. It examines the void as a place for addition rather than a cause for demolition of the urban block. It looks at how these 'additions' can be used to create new connections within the city and through the block. The relationship between entryway, passageway, alleyway, street, square, courtyard and junction has been explored.

The project choose a brewery as the typology to test these ideas due to the areas surrounding uses: bars, restaurants and clubs. It present a case study for how industry can be re-introduced within an urban context.
