THE GARDENS OF FARNESINA IN ROME

Da otto anni percorro tutte le mattine in tutte le stagioni la sopraelevata Via Olimpica lasciandomi in basso sulla destra la zona della Farnesina, le ex case popolari del fascio, l’ex Orfanotrofio dei mutilatini, gli spiazzi destinati a zone di parcheggio del Ministero degli Affari Esteri, i giardinetti tra Via dei Colli della Farnesina e Via della Farnesina di Roma.

Nonostante nelle mattine d’inverno l’automobile sia ancora fredda ed il corpo ancora intorpidito quando lo sguardo cade per quella frazione di secondi nel verde e sulla breccia, la mente mi riporta a quelle calde primavere che sapevano di polvere e di sudore i cui spazzi sembravano immensi e ci si spostava da una zona all’altra con scopi precisi, dalla gara sulla pista di biciclette alla sfida a biglie, dal salto dall’altalena dove puntualmente qualcuno veniva tempestivamente accompagnato all’ospedale per suturare qualche ferita alla guerra con le cerbottane nascosti dietro fitte siepi di alloro che profumava quando ci cadevi dentro lasciandoti i graffi procurati dai rami con la speranza di non avere rovinato l’ennesima maglietta.

Il richiamo delle madri o dei nonni al tramonto suonava come l’inizio dell’ultimo minuto nelle gare sportive in cui si doveva dare sfogo a tutte le energie rimaste come fosse l’ultimo giorno di vita.

Le partite di pallone si svolgevano nel parcheggio antistante.

Una landa di asfalto infuocata dal sole delle due del pomeriggio, la conta per dividersi i componenti che avrebbero formato le due squadre, le delusioni di non essere scelto per primo o di dovere giocare contro il tuo migliore amico, le porte simboleggiate dall’accumulo di vestiti e tanta fervida immaginazione, quello spiazzo diveniva il vicino stadio Olimpico sino a quando si vinceva o perdeva tanto a poco con rissa finale per un fallo ricevuto.

Mentre mi infilo nel sottopasso del Fleming che mi proietta verso i Campi Sportivi mi rendo conto che il freddo e l’umidità aumentano all’interno dell’abitacolo, rifletto sulle cose che variano a seconda di come le guardiamo, da quale angolazione desideriamo osservarle e dal nostro stato d’animo.

Un giardinetto di quartiere può essere un parco, una giungla.

Una casa di periferia, una villa.

Una reggia, una prigione.

Penso che in ogni idea, progetto, costruzione si debba riuscire a lasciare quell’imperfezione che possa dare la possibilità al fruitore/consumatore di interpretare e adattare il prodotto alla propria esigenza ed alla propria necessità ma solamente a poche centinaia di metri da quell’area divertimenti oggi usata come pascolo per cani, ci sono gli appartamentini risalenti all’era fascista di tipologia ultrapopolare che oggi vengono venduti a prezzi che vanno dai 6.000 ai 7.000 euro per metro quadrato, scantinati chiamati loft ed ex lavatoi denominati attici.

Nonostante l’uomo sia padrone del mondo riesce comunque spesso a dare il peggio di se stesso speculando su situazioni già compromesse in partenza, basti pensare che sino agli anni ottanta, ogni appartamento di massimo cinquanta metri quadrati ospitasse come minimo una famiglia con contratto d’affitto bloccato composta da cinque o sei unità con un bagno costituito da vaso e lavabo.

La vendita di questi immobili da parte della nobiltà e degli enti a singoli privati ha creato un accaparramento all’affare ed alla conoscenza amministrativa al fine di aumentare il valore della singola proprietà per un suo ricollocamento sul mercato al doppio della cifra di origine d’acquisto.

Alla fine di tutti i passaggi al giorno d’oggi troviamo appartamentini ristrutturati ma con densità popolare inferiore dovuta all’innalzamento economico del mercato che ha portato all’acquisto famiglie ad alto reddito con massimo un figlio, ma con infrastrutture inesistenti ed abbandono di quelle poche che c’erano.

Spesso si da la colpa alla politica, ai governanti, ai padroni, agli urbanisti, ai progettisti, ai costruttori, ma credo che i colpevoli debbano essere individuati semplicemente negli esseri umani, intesi come comunità, come collettività di bipedi con intelletto sviluppato che troppo spesso si fanno trasportare da quel desiderio primordiale che si chiama concupiscenza ed è proprio su questo desiderio che gli speculatori fanno leva.

E pensare che per risolvere questo problema del tutto italiano, basterebbe non acquistare determinate case.
