He was born in Ankara, 1968. Oncuoglu completed his secondary education in T.E.D. Ankara College between the years 1974 and 1985. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from METU Faculty of Architecture in 1989.
He became the General Manager of Öncüoglu Architecture in 1996 after the loss of the founder Hasan Öncüoglu where he started working as architect in 1989. Öncüoglu Architecture which had 5 personnel in 1996 had been developed into 50 technical personnel with the joining of Önder Kaya in 1998, Cem Altinöz in 2003 and Cumhur Keskinok in 2005 as project partners and the foundation of architectural offices in foreign countries for international projects.
His main specialization field has been on retail, hospitality, healthcare, residential and work place projects. In adittion to Çncüoglu architecture, by his foundation of Hamburg ACP Internatioanl and Moscow ACP Architecture and Engineering, he had accomplished many projects in Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan and Eastern Europe. He won 29 prizes in national architecture competitions which seven is the 1st prize. His projects “Udelny Park” and “Regions June” in St. Petersburg awarded as “the Best Shopping Center in St. Petersburg” by the CRE magazines in 2006 and 2007. The Ritz Carlton Hotel project in Moscow was awarded as the best hotel in 2007. He has shared his research and experience on architecture and real estate fields in Turkey as being speaker at national and internatioanl conferences and seminars.
