The single family house „Haus K“ is situated on the hillside within a nature reserve, at the east bank of the lake Attersee. The main focus for the structure oft he building was to integrate it into the surrounding landscape. The architects developed a building type that - due to ist greened flat roof - almost disappears from the sight down the mountain. It´s large glass surface opens the house to the lake side. According tot he surrounding nature the wooden shingels on ist facade are constantly exposed to an ageing process.
