Mixed Use Public Structure + Location: Da Mei Sha Beach, Futian District + This structure is constructed primarily of treated pine and is located along the beach at Da Mei Sha, Shenzhen - China. The light frame is elevated to allow wind, sand and water to pass under it during typhoon seasons. The louvered wall screens welcome cooling winds as they provide shade from the intense sunlight during extreme summers. There are two changing rooms located at the west end and tables with chairs provide the public an oppurtunity to relax and enjoy refreshments.
