The house is to be built on a 28m by 30m site in Jeddah. The design is an attempt to exploit some of the spatial and form vocabulary rooted in local traditional architecture and use it in a modern context. Paradigms like "Roshan" {bay-window} and open courtyard are merged with"facade painting", terraces and light-shade articulation.
