Traditional architecture is a cultural element that extends and develops along with a nation development. This issue contains ideal, social and material forms of a culture. Therefore traditional architecture becomes significant for a cultural identity of one nation. Nowadays most of Indonesian urban development project has caused a shifting in traditional architecture values. Sooner or later this shifting will trigger an extinction of traditional culture in terms of architectural forms, structures and functions.
