The Third Generation City is the ruin of the industrial-modernist city. Ruin is when man-made has become part of nature. Ruining the city is landscape urbanism. Modern man will be ruined by human  nature - human nature as part of nature. The river is correct: the machine must be broken. The organic machine is emerging.
