Architecture News - Mar 16, 2009 - 09:00   10624 views

Finnish architect Marco Casagrande and Alaskan industrial artist Marty Ross attacking the Taipei City with an army of 8 Trojan Rocking Horses. During the march the horses acted as moving mailboxes collecting memories, dreams, comments and wishes of the citizens to Mayor Ma Ying-Jeou, now President of Taiwan.

The work follow`s Fritz Lans maxim from the movie Metropolis: "The mediator between the head and the hands must be the heart."

Mayor Ma is the head, the citizens are the hands, as architects we are interested in the possibility of the heart.
