Travel Grants from the American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS)

American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS) Announcements

AIPS Travel Grants

AIPS has limited travel grant funding to support travel for AIPS member colleagues to travel from Pakistan to the US (and from the US to Pakistan) for a conference or invited lecture. Confirmation of paper acceptance or invitation to a workshop/paper presentation must be submitted along with the application for the travel grants. Members who want to invite colleagues from Pakistan or vice versa can also apply for these funds. The selection will be on a rolling basis while funds last.

To apply for funds to bring a Pakistani scholar to the US, please submit the following:

1) Cover letter:
-Invited speaker’s CV
-Location of talk or conference
-Date of talk or conference
-Letter of invitation to Pakistani scholar (can be in draft form)
