Video Conversations - International Documentary Film Festival on Art and Architectureisrunning back for the third yearto the Casa dell’Architettura (House of Architecture) in Rome, curated by the Art Doc Festival cultural association and promoted by the Casa dell’Architettura of Rome.
Following the great success of the 2014 edition of Video Conversations, which took place in Rome, at the Casa dell’Architettura, from the 20th to the 24th of October, with the Adhesion of the President of the Italian Republic and the patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities and Tourism and of the Lazio Regional Government and which was included in the "Resonances" of the International Film Festival of Rome, Art Doc Festival, for the year 2015, is launching the call for entries for the new edition of Video Conversations – International Documentary Film Festival on Art and Architecture.
The 2015 edition of the Festival will take place in Rome, at the Casa dell’Architettura, from 19th to 23rd October 2015, and it will feature the best documentary productions in cinema and television on art and architecture, produced from 2012 to the present.
The Festival will be structured into 20 documentaries divided in the sections “Art”, “Architecture” and the special section “Use and Reuse” focused on the theme of recycling and reusing of objects, spaces and languages in art and in architecture, things that through a creative intervention can find a new function.
A selecting committee will decide which of the submitted works to include in the review.
Every evening all the documentaries will be introduced by directors, architects and important cinema critics. The screenings will start at 6.30 p.m. till 9 p.m.
All the screenings will be free for entrance.
A selected jury of experts will award the prize for best documentary in each section.
