Call for Ideas: 24H Competition 15th Edition ’Mythology’

24H, a competition branch of ideas forward, has called for new ideas about its themed-based international competition, titled 'mythology'. The international competition invites all architects, designers, and creative thinkers to develop a new discourse about more radical stories derived from its nature, history and customs. The competition will select 3 winners and 7 Honorable Mentions. 

Ideasforward are an experimental platform seeking progressive ideas that reflect on emerging themes. The eco design, sustainable architecture, new materials, concepts and technologies are compelling issues in the societies of the future and the involvement of the whole community is imperative.In an globalization era, where communication was dominated by the technological revolution, there is the need to rethink the cities and how Man relates in a global World as well as rethink the economic, social and cultural patterns of contemporary societies.

World Architecture Community is Media Partner for 24H Competitions and will announce the results on World Architecture Community news. 

Aim of the Competition-24H

A space where the time limit is used to stimulate your creativity. This competition proposes to reflect on themes of the current societies that affect us all, but also on more utopian themes, in order to make us think and rethink our codes and conduct. 

24H is looking for progressive and visionary ideas that can somehow change the way we see the World! 

Commitment, perseverance, inspiration and hard work are the necessary bases to develop a proposal that meets the premises that will be released regularly in the brief of the competition.

Gods are reinvented in human bodies that mirror the imperfect creation of space. Force of believing. Myth, tale, legend. Asymmetric symmetries of the world...

Dates and Fees

Beginning of the registration period: December 05th 

Promotional registration period from December 05th to December 31th at 23:59 - Fee € 15 

Regular registration period from January 01st to February 08th at 23:59 - Fee € 20 

Late period of registration from February 09th to February 18th at 11:59 - Fee € 25 

Publication of winners and honorable mentions at www.if-ideasforward.com on Mach 20th 

The competition date: February 18th to February 19th 

The competition begins at February 18th 12:00 noon and ends at February 19th 12:00 noon (London GMT + 0:00)

Awards 

1st Place - € 500 + publication in website, social networks and media partners + 24H trophy + 5 sketchbooks Emílio Braga + 24H registration fee 

2nd Place - € 150 + publication in website, social networks and media partners + 24H trophy + 5 sketchbooks Emílio Braga + 24H registration fee 

3rd Place - € 50 + publication in website, social networks and media partners + 24H trophy + 5 sketchbooks Emílio Braga + 24H registration fee 

7 Honorable Mentions - publication in website, social networks and media partners.

This is a competition in 24 hours so you only have access to the brief on the contest day Download on February 18 12:00pm (noon) (London GMT+0:00) but do not forget that you always have to register before February 18 at 11:49 am (London GMT + 0:00).

The jury will be announced soon on the competition website. 

Conditions for Participating

Participation can be individual or as a group. Participants must be over 18 years old. In the case of groups, the leader must be over 18 years old. By participating in an ideasforward contest the participant accepts all the terms and conditions published on ideas forward website that define the rules for use of the company website, as well as the rules of participation therein.
