Grimshaw Architects appointed to design London’s Heathrow Airport

Following a design competition with participation from Zaha Hadid Architects, Benoy and HOK, Grimshaw Architects has been chosen to design the concept for a 'hub airport of the future'. The appointment is the result of Grimshaw's 'visionary concept designs, which pushed the boundary of what an airport could and should be, but also for their unique ideas around how Heathrow could be expanded in a sustainable but affordable way'.
