Glaucio Campelo, designer based in Rio, has won the competition for the design of the event’s logo. The Institute of Architects of Brazil (IAB) has just revealed the logo for the 27th World Congress of Architects, UIA 2020 RIO. The symbol proposed by Glaucio Campelo, of UniDESIGN, Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with designer and professor PUC-RIO Suzana Valadares Fonseca, was chosen from among 48 other participants in a competition launched for the logo. 

With the theme, “All Worlds. One World. Architecture in the 21st Century,” the congress will take place in Rio in July 2020.
