Ben Van Berkel, founder of UNStudio, is another guest talking about 'interactive architecture' over 'Tomorrow's Buildings' at MIPIM 2016, Innovation Forum. Ben Van Berkel presented Arnhem Central project, which was opened to the public last year. Berkel says that 'architecture will not be so simplistic in near future'. ' We see that how new station designs transform the quality of public spaces' adds Berkel. Berkel's session mainly focuses on how analogic / experiential architetcure is supported by digital productions and how we can make other worlds via new digital tools.

Ben Van Berkel also explains 'what is interactive architecture' and how signs, or other simple details produce architecture itself without concrete solutions. Berkel also talked about great stations in the world and explained how these great structures celebrated the quality of travelling. However, especially in Arnhem, he added taht 'the government was promoting new approach in architecture' so the Arnhem Station was a challenge for the public and original idea is always supported by public.

This session in innovation forum focused on innovation, architecture, mixed-use vs pure residential, impact of climate change. more talks about innovation and architecture will be presented on Wednesday, 16 March and Thursday, 17 March 2016.
