ArchTriumph has announced new competition called ''A Parisian Summer  - Contemporary Beach Hut Competition''. The winner will be awarded with ''Triumph Architectural Beach Hut Award (TABA) 2015''. 

The aim of this international competition is to recognise and explore the possibility of more architectural design principles to be applied in the design of an outstanding contemporary beach hut. This competition investigates, explores and emphasises the importance of sustainable concept in beach hut design and the possibilities for experimentation with material and form in beach hut design as the world changes rapidly around us. 

The goal is to provide a contemporary architectural solution and re-think of the traditional Beach Hut design that is functional, feasible, repeatable, elegant and reflects the uses specified in the Competition ‘s program. The Beach Hut must protect users from the natural elements such as rain or excessive heat while providing safe storage for belonging of the renter who is enjoying the Paris Playes artificial beach setting.

The Beach Hut whether used for changing, relaxing, lunch or simply to store belonging are useful structure on the beaches as the can be put into a number of convenient uses by visitors to the beach especially today when we all carry many technological gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets and, bank /credit cards.

Project: The project is to design an original contemporary Beach Hut to be adapted into a series of huts with the vision of being located along the Paris Playes on the right bank or the River Seine. The Beach Hut will provide an elegant and inspiring contemporary structure for visitors to admire and users to store valuable and relax in for drinks, lunch or a romantic interlude.

The design of the single Beach Hut module should adhere to the following dimensions within the individual form or concept:
-Width: 1.83 m
-Height (Total Height Floor to any Roof Apex): 3 m
-Depth: 2.44 m
-Roof Style: Open to participant’s vision
-Construction and Material: Open to participant’s vision

Fees
Every entrant shall be required to pay an entry fee as follows:

-Standard Registration: from 10th October 00:00 (GMT) to 19th November 2015 23:59 (GMT)
-Late Registration: from 20th November 00:00 (GMT) to 04th December 2015 23:59 (GMT)

Submission Deadline: 04th December 2015, Closing Date for Submission

Result Announcement: 15th December 2015, Announcement of Winners
