Michael Kimmelman and Bjarke Ingels in conversation about three major projects of New York designed by BIG.

The Times’s architecture critic, Michael Kimmelman, spoke with the Danish architect Bjarke Ingels about three of his projects in New York. They spoke at the Cities for Tomorrow conference on July 20. Bjarke Ingels designed three major projects in New York, West 57th Street2 World Trade Center and The Dryline. In general, Bjarke as an innovative starchitect, he compared architecture with the game ''Twister'' and he said ''we escape a straightjacket of the standard solution and we come up with something different and like twister it becomes more acrobatic and enjoyable.''- See the full conversation in video.
